We received this TRS-80 Model III from a generous donor in Texas back in 2022. Unfortunately, despite being well packaged, it did sustain damage in shipping. It is not uncommon for the large TRS-80/Tandy machines to be damaged in shipping, either by shattered plastics or CRT separation from the front bezel as the mounting posts are also plastic. That is what happened in our case, but amazingly the tube itself was not damaged at all. Below you will see some photos of it fully repaired and working, along with some of the damage and repair process as well. This is the basic Model III with 16k RAM and no floppy drives.
