Update 9/12/2016:
Our VIC-20 has had a rough life. In it’s original configuration, this VIC-20 was the earlier version with the 2 prong power connector. However, that system board was bad (or at least had multiple issues that were not resolved by chip-swapping). Therefore, we had replaced the board with a donor board that had been previously used in a project years ago and had some modifications done. When this page was originally written, we had simply installed the board to get the machine up and running, but we always wanted to restore to the original condition. Follow the restoration progress below:
Since this machine originally had the 2 prong power port, we were missing the proper side panel.
